The best New Year's Eve parties happen when you're in a good place with friendly faces and people you love to hear DJs that you can rely on to
inspire a great night of celebration and fun - without costing the earth.
It's a pretty simple approach, but then New Year's Eve is one of those occasions
where the smartest thing is to keep it simple. Members of the Arts Club team have a LOT of experience, and we hope we've turned that to your advantage, as we've sold
out and enjoyed every NYEP we've done here at the Arts Club.

That's why we've chosen DJs that we know you love, and we'll have a bespoke cocktail menu, special drinks promotions and all sorts of little extras to make New Year's Eve extra-special.
This year, as on many mighty fine times before, the inimitable veteran masterblaster and Bristolian hero DJ Derek will usher in the New Year in his unique Sweet Memory Sounds style... From appearing in Dizzee Rascal videos to BBC Documentaries, there is no doubt this man is something of an eccentric British icon. Expect reggae and R&B and funky soul, a natty waistcoat and a countdown to next year like no other.

DJ Mylon D is Derek's partner at Sweet Memory Sounds and he'll be whipping the dance floor into a frenzy with his own dancehall floorfillers and party anthems. He also presents the monthly Lick It Back, so can pile on the bashment party flavours too!

Alex Phountzi is an ex-Bugz In The Attic don who's now one half of ace production duo Greenmoney (alongside Leo Greenslade of YOYO), and a veteran of great NYE parties here. Since the release of their debut 'Gold Ru$h EP' in 2010 the pair have gone on to release a string of EPs on their own label - December 2012 saw them drop the third EP in the 'Greenmoney Dubs' series, following a late summer single with Terri Walker. Expect Alex's set to include a mix of house, bashment and broken beats.

MC MG is one of the original jungle MCs and part of the legendary Reinforced crew. He's toured extensively with the likes of 4Hero and Bugz In The Attic and performed many times at YOYO and the Arts Club.
