Hot
on the heals of their much talked about loft party at the Light Bar in
Shoreditch, Tribe
make the move across town to West London for the first time for a carnival
after party to remember at the Notting Hill Arts Club!
The
carnival is always full of amazing colours, sights, sounds and we want
to bring people together here in London to celebrate the end of carnival
in style with some great, deep, soulful afro-house sounds, bringing our
only unique Tribe flavour to the proceedings.
Joining our Tribe residents Zepherin Saint and Matt
L-S will be Timmy Regisford from Shelter
in New York. For over a decade, Timmy has garnered admiration
and respect globally with his brand of ballsy, soulful dance music, which
places the emphasis on eclecticism rather than the predictable and the
linear. His DJ sets are soulful and deep, while he isn't afraid to venture
into the realms of more experimental rhythms. Many New Yorkers still pay
homage to the man every Sunday morning at his Area Code residency, which
replaced his infamous Shelter party last year.
As MCA Records A&R Director he developed artists such as Loose Ends,
Soul 2 Soul, Colonel Abrams, Guy, and Eric B & Rakim to name a few.
And he has had a big hand in remixing the exciting Peven Everett album
project, ‘Beyond The Universe’, which Tribe Records
will be releasing this summer, and we look forward to welcoming him back
to Tribe!
