Benumu Presents: Mind.org.uk Charity Event

We are very excited to be supporting an amazing charity Mind to help raise awareness and we'll be taking over the great Notting Hill Arts Club!

The event is free entry, however we will be asking for donations. This way you get to see some awesome artists and also can support a brilliant charity by giving what you are able to.

Audiyo are partnering with us and will be giving away a 360 cube Bluetooth speaker and a pair of their flagship i8s Bluetooth headphones.

Also we are very proud to announce that we will be powered by Orange Amplifiers!

Nadia Sheikh

The London based artist combines indie, rock and pop with folky and jazzy vocals creating a characteristic and unique sound that she showcases in her original songs. Quirky melodies and catchy choruses with incredibly insightful lyrics.

In 2016 and 2017, Nadia released two singles: ‘Flip the Coin’ and ‘No. 24’, produced by Danny Schogger (Sam Brown, Paul Young…), as well as a live acoustic performance of her song ‘Redemption’, gaining attention from the media and getting airplay from BBC Introducing London, Radio 3 (Spain) and RTE2 (Ireland), amongst others.

At the end of December 2017, Nadia was named as one of This Feeling’s ‘Big in 2018’ picks, performing at the ‘Big in 2018’ gig at The Monarch in Camden.

As well as her own original music, Nadia has also been involved in collaborations with other artists, the latest being with Jamie Morrison (Pop Morrison and drummer in Stereophonics).

“A melting pot of unique and folksy balladry, Nadia Sheikh is a genre chameleon with a voice that warms the soul” – Fred Perry Subculture
